Our first intercultural group is here!
We hope to offer opportunities for cultural sharing, identity bridging, and storytelling for individuals interested in cultivating their sense of belonging in a small intercultural group.
Inclusion criteria:
Identities/Cultures/Age inclusive
Willingness and disposition to receive and offer support to others
Ability to share stories about yourself in a small interpersonal setting
Ability to emotionally regulate in a group setting
Openness to share space with folks in different stages of identity development
What to expect?
This intercultural group will center on a conversation about belonging and co-creating a brave/safe space where everyone can bring their full authentic selves into the space.
What are the agreements?
The group will share the time and space equitably while providing depth about their cultural stories. Members will discuss group norms and expectations at the beginning of the session.
We will focus on 3 big questions:
1. How would you describe your cultural story?
2. Could you describe a moment when you experienced belonging?
3. What do you need to feel more connected to your cultural story?
